Dear Friends,
I hope you are having a good week. I’ll begin this email with a list of the scheduled funeral services. As you read the list, please remember to call the church office if you plan on attending so the family has the correct numbers for ordering the luncheons.
Today: Marion Wood Service at 6:00pm, visitation is at 5:00pm. There will be a light meal served after the service. Masking is required for the service.
Friday, June 18: Ron Rist Service is at 11:00am, visitation is at 10:00am. There will be a luncheon after the service. Burial is at Sunset at 2:00pm. Masking is required for the service.
Thursday, June 24: Pat and Carl Ramberg Service at 11:00am, visitation at 10:00am. There will be a luncheon after the service. Burial is at Hillside that afternoon.
Friday, July 1: Jay Samuelson Service at 11:00am, visitation at 10:00am. No luncheon is being served on site. Burial is at a later date.
Saturday, July 24: Carmy Martin Service is at 11:00am, visitation at 10:00am. There will be a luncheon after the service.
Looking ahead: Office hours remain as they are. Please note on Thursday, June 24, there will be no open office hours as there is a funeral that morning.
Food distribution is Tuesday, June 22. Please stop in as normal. Boxes are distributed to families later that afternoon.
Remember there is a meeting for parents and youth who are interested in attending the National Youth Gathering in July of 2022. The meeting is Wednesday, July 7, at 6:00pm. Please plan on masking.
There will be a coffee/fellowship following worship this Sunday, June 20. Our next two coffee fellowships will be July 11 and July 18. It’s been fun to be able to sit in the Fellowship Hall and enjoy conversations. I hope you will join us for worship and fellowship.
As you know, we continue to mask in worship. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. It’s been wonderful to be able to sing songs and hymns together, and to have the satisfaction that everyone is welcome: vaccinated, unvaccinated, and families with children under 12. We wear our masks to protect others, not ourselves. It’s a simple thing, and there will be a time in the future when it will no longer be necessary. Thanks for coming and participating in the life of the church!
