Here are the updates for this week.
Office hours are normal for the coming week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30am-Noon. Please use these times to drop off offerings and donations to the Food Shelf (see below for items needed). Thank you for your many generosities!!
This coming Sunday, May 29, Vicar Jessie Hodgson will be leading the worship service. Please come and join him for worship at 10:00am. There will be no communion on May 29; communion will resume on Sunday, June 5.
Thank you so much to those of you who reached out and have joined the “Cabin Campaign!!” This is a fun campaign for those of us who are enjoying some vacations and time away from home this summer. The “Cabin Campaign” is the opportunity to make an additional financial gift over the summer months while many of us will be away taking advantage of long-awaited vacations and time at the lake and cabin. Reach out to me by text, cell call or email if you are joining the campaign!!
There are sign-ups for Communion Servers on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall. If you can help serve, please sign up. Also, if you are interested in Ushering, please see Carol Dahling. Carol is our head usher and can be found on Sunday mornings by the main Sanctuary doors. I know she would love to have you join the group.
If you are interested in working on the flower beds around the church building, please let the office know. We need a few people who are interested in doing some ‘bed’ clean-up and nurturing the flowers and landscaping around the building.
Food Shelf needs include: canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter and jelly/jams, boxed oatmeal, spaghettio’s and ravioli, and kid friendly soups and snacks. Thank you!!!
It’s time to sign up for Vacation Bible School. VBS is Monday through Friday, August 1-5, from 9:00am-Noon. The theme this year is “Food Truck Party.” The cost is $25 per child/ or $60 per family. You can sign up online or pick up a registration at the welcome desk on Sunday mornings. It’s going to be a lot of fun! I hope to see you at VBS in August!!
