With great sadness, we received news of the death of Carol Babneau. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
The funeral of Sherman Johnson has been moved to the Washburn-McReavy Chapel on Coon Rapids Blvd. The service is Friday, September 30, at 11am; visitation is one hour before the service.

This coming Sunday, September 25, our 9th graders will affirm their baptismal promises in worship at 10 am. Please be in prayer for these young people and their families!
Don’t forget the Women’s Gathering: “For Such a Time as This…You Are Created “at Peace on Saturday, October 8, from 8 am-4 pm. Registration forms are available at the church or register online at https://tinyurl.com/
There will be a farewell reception for Pastor Tim on Sunday, October 9th. Pastor Tim has taken a call with Portico. If you are unable to attend, please send your cards and well wishes to the church office and we will make sure he receives them. We wish him every blessing in this new venture!!
Sunday Morning Refreshments: Please let the office know when you are willing to help serve coffee and cookies on Sunday mornings. There are a few Sundays when we have special receptions or breakfasts, and many mornings when we have coffee and cookies. The pastoral staff is busy getting ready for worship and will not be available to set refreshments. We need your help.
VACCINATION CLINIC: MONDAY, OCTOBER 10TH.
If you are interested in receiving the updated Booster, please text me to make the appointment at 612.280.6493. I will need your first and last name, and I will text you back an appointment time. This clinic is open to all who are 12 and older and desire the updated Booster. All minor children must be accompanied by an adult. Your appointment is set only when you have received a text back. If you are not able to text me, you may call me on my cell and I will verbally assign you an appointment. Please use my cell number, 612.280.6493, for setting your appointment. You may also see me on Sunday morning to set up your appointment. We will also have the flu vaccination available, please let me know if you desire both.
Regular Confirmation classes begin on Wednesday evening, September 28. Class meets from 6 pm-7 pm, followed by Middle School and High School Youth Group at 7:15 pm! Students are encouraged to stay for youth group.
On Wednesday evening, October 5, there will be a Welcome Back Bonfire for Middle and High School Youth from 7:15-8:15 pm. Mark your calendars and we hope to see you there!!
Spirit Time begins this evening from 6-7:15 pm. We look forward to welcoming children age 3 – grade 5!
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Please consider blessing a child this Christmas.
Our goal this year is to pack 100 boxes!
- Donations are needed to help fill the boxes. Please take a sticky note from the board in the Fellowship Hall for an item to purchase such as toys, art supplies, personal hygiene and other items.
- We are also in need of cash donations to help with the shipping. The cost to ship one box is $10. Please label your check or envelope with Operation Christmas Child donation.
- All supplies can be dropped off during Church Office hours or Sunday mornings. Office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 am -12 pm
- Please have your items turned in by Sunday, October 16.

Pastor Tim and I will be attending the Bishop’s Theological Conference in Nisswa this coming weekend: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning. Please contact me by cell or the church office for any pastoral emergencies and I will respond. This is an annual event, and all ordained clergy and deacons are required to attend.
