NO CONFIRMATION OR WEDNESDAY EVENING SUPPER THIS EVENING.

Dear Friends,

Because of the illnesses of staff and volunteers and their families, there is no confirmation or Wednesday evening supper tonight. The confirmation retreat for Saturday has also been cancelled due to illness. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this causes, and you will receive information about the re-schedule of the confirmation retreat. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We don’t like to cancel and postpone events but had no choice this week. Confirmation and Wednesday evening supper will continue as planned next Wednesday evening. Spirit Time will meet as usual tonight.

No one signed up to host coffee and fellowship this Sunday, and because there is no sign up, we won’t be gathering for coffee after worship. Sunday the 29^th is still available. If you, your family, or your small group would like to host coffee fellowship please sign up on the bulletin board near the entry doors. The staff is preparing for worship on Sunday mornings and does not have time to take care of making coffee and taking care of treats. We hope you will sign up, as we all enjoy sitting down and visiting together after worship. Please contact the Church Office if you will take this Sunday, January 22 or January 29. With that, other than the pancake breakfast on Sunday, February 5^th, no one has signed up for those February Sundays. Thank you in advance for your help!

The Annual Meeting of Peace Lutheran is on Sunday, February 5, following the 10am service. This is open to all members. We will have worship and a short time of refreshments with check in beginning at 11:15 am, and the meeting at 11:30 am.

There will be a new member orientation on Saturday, February 4, at 10 am, and again on Sunday, February 12, after worship in the choir room. If you know you are attending, please contact the Church Office. Everyone interested in joining Peace Lutheran on Palm Sunday this year is welcome to attend one or the orientations. If neither date works for you, please contact me and we will find a time to do an orientation.

Thank you for continuing your food shelf donations. We are restocking our food shelf for community use and beginning to prepare for the Easter Holiday Baskets. Please continue to bring in canned tuna and chicken, oatmeal packets, cereal, kid friendly snacks, canned vegetables and fruits, pasta and sauces, peanut butter and jelly, pancake mix and syrup, paper products, and personal need supplies.

Camp Wapo Summer Camp

Wapo Youth Camp, July 23-28- For completed grades 4-9 cost $610

 Seeds Weekend, July 21-23-For completed grades 1-3 cost $260

 Registration opens January 15 thru February 15 for our reserved spots. Open registration starts after February 16.

Kids Winter Fun Night

The Children’s Ministry team is hosting a Fall Fun Night

for children 3 years old to 5^th grade.

We would love for your child(ren) to join us!

When: Friday, February 3

Time: 5:30-8:30 pm

Cost: $10 per child or $25 per family

Please join us for pizza, games, music and craft.

Parents you can have a fun night out!
